This site is about a content marketing strategist and writer, Central Texas resident, husband and father, and all-around great guy.

About

Greetings; I’m Zach. My work spans several industries, and my capabilities include content marketing and strategy, copywriting, editing, team/campaign management, graphic design, print/prepress production, web administration, online/offline marketing and communications, tactical analysis and development, and more. Plus, I dominate at Trivial Pursuit.

I work as a Web Content Manager for Scott & White Healthcare in sunny Temple, Texas. I approach content strategy, curation, and creation from an old-school journo’s perspective, but working almost exclusively on the digital side for the last few years has given me a unique angle on the craft.

As for my personal life, my wife, son, and I live in Temple along with our two pets: Stonewall, my college-acquired mutt, and Willie, the former alley cat. We’re a very hairy and slobbery family. More important information:

  • I read a lot, and I hoard books. Selling books is anathema.
  • I play four instruments (piano, drums, guitar, and saxophone). Since the sax has been collecting dust for a few years, it’s probably more accurate to say 3.5.
  • The ending to “The Sixth Sense” didn’t surprise me at all. I can no longer pretend it did.

This site isn’t meant to be centered around one thing; it’s just a repository for the things that interest me. Some of the content has been syndicated from other sites where I blog regularly—the offbeat stuff or rants about Tulane football are posted here only. Comments are welcome, so spill your guts. Thanks for dropping by!
